Founder ✸ Natalie Gollop

  • Hey hey, I’m Natalie, the founder of Briefclub! For as long as I can remember, I have absolutely adored design. All of that love has poured into creating my own brand design business, as well as this beautiful place. Helping you guys thrive and flourish is my number one goal and I absolutely love connecting with you through Instagram and our membership space!

    Some facts about me:

    ✸ I’ve been studying design & working in the field for around seven years! I started up my business in 2019, became a limited company in 2021 & graduated that same year with a 1st Class Honours in Graphic Design 🎓 (still very much in love with design after all this time, if not way more)

    ✸ In my spare time you’ll find me re-watching Gilmore Girls for the hundredth time, watching Formula 1, playing Sudoku or designing✌🏻

    ✸ Autumn & Winter are probably my favourite times of the year (I love the cosy weather, snowfall and all of the winter holidays 🎄)

    ✸ I am a huge lover of the colour pink - my branding actually used to be pink, on two occasions 💓

  • Hey, Emily here!👋🏻, BriefClub partner and Natalie’s trusty sidekick.

    I’m currently a design consultant for an awesome agency, designing presentations and documents for leading global companies, including Google and Nike.

    Prior to this, I studied BA Typography & Graphic Communication and graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in 2021🎓

    Some general facts about me:

    ✸ I currently have 8 cats! Ask me more if you wish to be bombarded with photos

    ✸ I’m the eldest of 7 siblings (big family, hence the cats!)

    ✸ I’m engaged to my fantastic husband-to-be, James, and have been since March 2021💍

    ✸ My favourite colour is green; my go-to outfit is a full green tracksuit - pure style😽💚

  • Briefclub is a community for passionate creatives. We are dedicated to helping you thrive!

    We are known for our Instagram account @briefclub, that with nearly 80k followers has been running free weekly design challenges and sharing the best submissions alongside inspiration and more for over 2 years!

    However, we’re now introducing the Briefclub Membership which you would’ve explored above. This can be seen as a premium add-on to what we offer on our Instagram page. The goal was to build a closer and stronger community that help each other grow, alongside loads of premium content & resources!

  • Sign up is super easy - we put a lot of effort into making it that way!

    Once you’ve chosen a tier, simply select the “Sign me up” button & you’ll be taken straight to the checkout page. Then you just fill in a couple details and that’s it, you’re a member! From there you’ll be directed to joining our community - the whole process often takes under a couple minutes!

  • The creative community is hosted on a platform called Discord. This is a super easy-to-use app that is perfect because it allows us to have group chats, calls, organise content into tiers, schedule live events and even build custom functionality such as our brief randomizer! It’s really the perfect community app and has allowed us to build the perfect home for our members.

  • Once you sign up, the community will host all the benefits. Everything is super easy to find, just follow the steps provided and everything will be detailed straight away within the community! The one-stop place for everything!

    We also have a community full of super helpful and friendly creatives who will be more than happy to help you find anything you’re looking for!

  • The membership is hosted through a platform called Memberful. You can manage your account from there.

    We’ve even set up a custom command within the community that takes you directly to your account page, so it will be super easy to find once you sign up!

  • Of course not - everything you know and love about Briefclub that has always been free will forever be free, we are committed to that promise. The Briefclub Membership just allows us to offer lots of bonus features for our community!

  • As much as we’d love to offer people the chance to check out the community before they pay, we cannot offer free trials as it would be unfair on paying members.

    One key feature of our membership is that when you sign up, you can see past content & chat history. Whilst this is obviously a massively reduced version of the membership, we still feel giving access to this for free would be unfair on those paying for it!
